The site welcome message appears on the Dashboard. It can be used to provide users with an introduction of the site, or as a "message of the day".
To edit the site welcome message,
- Go to the 'Administration Console' and click on 'General Configuration' in the left panel.
- Click 'Edit' at the bottom of the 'Options and Settings' screen..
- In the text-entry box beside 'Site Welcome Message' enter your text using regular Confluence markup.
- 'Save' your changes.
